Freemotion FMEL4505P Review

Machine: Freemotion FMEL4505P Elliptical Trainer

Overview: The Freemotion FMEL4505P Elliptical Trainer brings a rich feature set to any workout space. The FreeMotion Elliptical Trainer with Workout TV is designed to be a good fit no matter what room you plan on using it in. Sturdy construction, and rear access design show Freemotion’s dedication to providing the customer with an elliptical built to fit their life, not one they have to fit their life around. By using a custom electromagnetic resistance system, or ERS, the FreeMotion Commercial Elliptical Trainer is able to harness the kinetic energy you generate as you workout in order to power the basic console making this model more energy efficient than other models. The console provides a broad array of statistics, such as the distance you’ve “traveled”, your speed, and your heart rate. You’ll know how far you’ve gone, and how fast you got there as you enjoy the smooth, quiet ride provided by the belt drive system.

Strengths:
Rear access design allows you to easily enter and exit this elliptical from the rear, making it a good fit for any size room. This sturdy machine has a belt drive system to provide an extremely smooth and fluid workout. The FMEL4505P displays a wide variety of statistics, such as resistance, pace, segment time, total time, distance, calories, watts, heart rate, percent max heart rate, speed, and RPM. The FreeMotion Commercial Elliptical Trainer with TV built into the console rounds out the robust feature set found in the FMEL4505P.
Weaknesses:
With all of the features found in the FMEL4505P, it’s surprising to see what got left out. While it is compatible with a wireless chest strap heart monitor, the monitor isn’t included with the elliptical. Also, the number of built in workout programs is surprisingly anorexic, with just eight programs as compared to the fourteen or more found in other models.
The Skinny:
The Freemotion FMEL4505P Elliptical Trainer review: may be a bit pricey, but it’s rich feature set, and impeccable construction make it a welcome addition to any home gym.
