The Horizon EX-58 Elliptical provides one of the smoothest and quietist possible rides for a budget elliptical thanks to its magnetic break resistance. It’s also a very comfortable machine thanks to a ZEROgap foot pedal distance, straight up body posture and long, ergonomically designed handlebars. It also features 10 workout programs that you can change on the fly to get the most variety out of your workout. The ability to listen to music straight from your MP3 player through the integrated speakers helps to keep your workouts from getting dull—a pretty luxurious add-on for an inexpensive piece of equipment. For an economy machine the Horizon ex58 elliptical features an above average stride length of 18 inches.
The console display on the Horizon ex-58 elliptical ex 58 Elliptical is somewhat limited, only featuring LED displays rather than a full LCD screen. However, in this price range it’s pretty standard. And of course because it’s not a high end machine, it has its limits in terms of weight capacity and strength.
The Horizon Fitness ex 58 elliptical packs a respectable workout into an affordable package. As a Horizon elliptical trainer it has as solid of a design a cheaper elliptical can have without sacrificing a ton of features. While it doesn’t have the most sophisticated console it does include built-in speakers and as well as a built-in fan. However if you can afford a few hundred more dollars you can get an elliptical with more pre-programmed workouts and a sturdier, more ergonomic design.
